About Us

Leslie and Roger Slusher are the owners of Fields Edge Cavaliers. Leslie has a Ph.D. and taught Genetics for 26 years in the Biology Department of West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Roger, an independent business owner, has bred and continues to breed purebred Polled Hereford Cattle for many years with many Dams of Distinction to his credit. Leslie’s retirement from teaching afforded them the opportunity to concentrate on their dogs. With a dog and two bitches purchased from their mentors Erica and Rachel Venier of Orchard Hill Cavaliers, Leslie and Roger have built their own show lines that include both Champions and Grand Champions. Breedings are always done keeping the breed standards set by the American Cavalier King Charles Club in mind. Health and temperament are of upmost importance.
